- Must be a Registered Nurse in accordance with laws of this state and have at least 6 months experience in long‑term care with at least one year experience as a licensed nurse.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long‑term care.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or possess a valid compact license.
- Provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day‑to‑day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
