Job summary

Avera at Home Aberdeen is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide home health nursing care in the Aberdeen, SD area. The nurse will utilize the standard nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in their homes or facilities, following ANA guidelines and ensuring high quality outcomes.

The role involves data collection, care planning, on-call involvement evenings and weekends when necessary, and collaboration with families and healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Preferred: minimum two years related experience.

A Brief Overview

Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide nursing care for Avera@Home patients following the ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice. The Nurse assumes responsibility for the outcome of nursing care provided to patients in their homes or in facilities. The Nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional care for the population served.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

• Minimum two (2) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
