Qualifications

Overview

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Antepartum Unit, which provides comprehensive perinatal care to high‑risk obstetrical patients during their childbirth journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perinatal care to high‑risk obstetrical patients admitted to the Antepartum Unit.
• Manage care of patients with diagnoses such as diabetes, pre‑term labor, pre‑term rupture of membranes, pre‑eclampsia, addictions, mental health issues, abnormal bleeding, and other medical or obstetrical complications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients throughout their stay, which may span days, weeks, or months.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure.
• Previous experience in Women’s Health preferred.
• Candidates with backgrounds in med‑surg, IMCU, ICU, or ED are welcome to apply.
