Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Inpatient Rehabilitation RN at West Hospital to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans for rehab patients.

The role requires an RN with an accredited nursing degree, active state licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of acute care or rehab experience. EPIC EHR experience is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• Current state RN license and BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, document and assess patient condition.
• Assess, stage, photograph, and measure wounds per policy.
• Evaluate and revise the care plan to meet outcomes.
• Administer medications safely per policy and procedures.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Rehabilitation – West Hospital

Job Summary:

The Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients by:

• Utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status
• Implementing clinical nursing interventions
• Having a highly diverse medical skillset
• Developing and performing patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes
• Ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment

Essential Functions:

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting, and assess patient condition
• Assesses, stages, photographs, and measures wounds accurately and in accordance with policy
• Evaluates, updates and revises the plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
• Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and the organization’s policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association

Experience:

• 1 year of clinical patient care experience in an acute care setting, long-term care facility, or physician practice (preferred, not required)
• 1 year of experience in an acute rehabilitation facility (preferred, not required)

Training:

• EPIC Electronic Health Record training (preferred, not required)
