This role involves providing patient care using the Nursing Process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Standards of Practice. The RN delegates, directs, and assists team members, is accountable for patient outcomes, and exhibits cultural sensitivity. The role supports the department’s strategic goals and upholds professional responsibility and accountability.
