This role involves providing patient care using the Nursing Process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Standards of Practice. The RN delegates, directs, and assists team members, is accountable for patient outcomes, and exhibits cultural sensitivity. The role supports the department’s strategic goals and upholds professional responsibility and accountability.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Required - Registered Nurse Diploma. Preferred - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Certifications: Required - Current RN License in the state of practice, BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Preferred - Certification in Clinical Specialty Area.
• Experience: None required; preferred experience in nursing.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Computer skills for data entry and retrieval.
• Proficiency with Windows applications and role-specific software.
• Effective communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
