Job summary

ChristianaCare is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Acute Care Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital in Wilmington, DE. The RN will cover the night shift (7p–7a) with a 20% shift differential and will participate in weekends and holidays per department guidelines.

The role supports rehabilitation patients, collaborates with medical staff, and requires an ADN with the option to pursue a BSN within three years, plus BLS. Delaware RN license or compact license is required.

Qualifications

• Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Applicants must commit to obtaining a BSN within three years of the hire date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to rehabilitation patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists to develop and adjust patient care plans.
• Monitor patients' progress and document care in the EHR.

ChristianaCare's Acute Care Rehabilitation Center at Wilmington Hospital is growing and looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN).

Rehabilitation Services at ChristianaCare Wilmington Hospital helps our patients reclaim their independence and activity level, putting them back on the road to their best health. We are an accredited Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility with specialty accreditation in stroke, brain injury, and limb loss by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

Our team of specially trained healthcare professionals at the ChristianaCare Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital (CRWH) is dedicated to rehabilitation to help patients regain or improve the skills needed for daily life. Patients receive nursing care, the medical staff manages medical problems, and rehabilitation is provided in our state-of-the-art center. Education & Experience Requirements:

• Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Applicants must commit to obtaining a BSN within three years of the hire date.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience required.
• Preferred Experience: 1-2 years in Rehabilitation, Med/Surg, or Stepdown.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
