Job summary

Avardis Health is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our care team in a bustling long-term care setting. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care, supervise staff, and collaborate with physicians and caregivers to ensure excellent resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active state license.
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for patient-centered care.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing resident needs.
• Every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Supervises staff and oversees patient care in accordance with standards of care and regulations.
• Supervises CNAs during shifts, assigns work, trains new staff, and ensures tasks meet facility standards.
• Monitor residents' conditions, assess symptoms, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best care for residents.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
• Educate residents and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents.
