Job summary

EmergencyMD in Woodstock, VA is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and provide high-quality care in a warm, patient-centered environment. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and supporting admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.

The ideal candidate has an active RN license, experience in long-term or geriatric care, strong clinical skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unencumbered state license.
  • Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing preferred.

  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing resident needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
  • Supervise staff and oversee patient care in line with standards and regulations.
  • Supervise CNAs during shifts, including assignments, performance management, and training.
  • Monitor residents, assess symptoms, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal resident care.
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
  • Educate residents and families about health conditions and care plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents.

Job Type: Full Time / Part Time

Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) looking to provide high-quality care in a warm and supportive environment? Join our dedicated team and play a vital role in improving the well-being and quality of life of our residents.

Major Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans.
  • Supervises staff and oversees patient care in accordance with standards of care and practice and applicable state/federal regulations.
  • Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants during shifts, including assigning and distributing work, performance management, training new staff, and ensuring work performed in accordance to facility standards.
  • Monitor residents' conditions, assess symptoms, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best care for residents.
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
  • Educate residents and families about health conditions and care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents.
Minimum Qualifications
