Job summary

Majestic Care Bedford is seeking Registered Nurses to join our team and provide skilled nursing care to residents under the direction of the nursing management team. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible RNs.

As an RN, you will supervise CNAs on your unit, administer medications, start IVs, and coordinate care plans while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This on-site role emphasizes teamwork, bedside care, and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Licensed as an RN in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing.
• CPR certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document the residents’ condition and nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents and document that treatment as required by Majestic Care and local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
• Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act.
• Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
• Coordinate nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
• Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in residents.

Position Overview

Majestic Care RNs render skilled technical nursing services to residents within an assigned unit/wing in support of medical care as directed by the nursing management team; supervises CNAs to ensure a high quality of care is provided to all residents in that unit.
