Job summary

Genesis is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement care plans for a diverse resident population.

Responsibilities include coordinating with families, setting achievable goals, and ensuring safe, effective treatments while maintaining excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing and licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions to minimize rehospitalizations and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks are completed.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.
