Our Island Home is a 45-bed skilled nursing facility dually licensed in Medicaid and Medicare and owned by the Town of Nantucket. The resident population is diverse in not only heritage but origin of location.
Island residency is not required and commuters encouraged to apply. We value your expertise, whether you are a new graduate or experienced nurse. The Town of Nantucket assists with commuting expenses to and from the island and securing housing on Nantucket.
You must be currently licensed in MA and be in good physical and mental health. Completion of an accredited nurse licensure program is required; you must comply with the regulations of the MA Department of Public Health. Prior work experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Full Benefits, LiUNA Union OI RN position. Starting hourly rate $51.08 (new hires) - $64.83 (employees hired prior to July 1, 2012 with 20 years of service with the Town of Nantucket).
