Advocate Health Navicent The Medical Center in Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 3 East Medical/Surgical unit. This full-time role on a 20-bed unit focuses on adult patients with acute and chronic conditions, including telemetry monitoring and post-operative care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.

Where You Will Work:

3 East is a20-bed Medical-Surgical floor that provides comprehensive care for adult patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, as well as post-operative recovery needs. This unit is designed to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment.This unit provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with diverse patient cases.Supportive leadership and ongoing education programs and the opportunity to be a part ofa collaborative team culture focused on quality outcomes and patient safety.
Primary Patient Population:
Adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, respiratory illnesses, and cardiovascular disorders.
Post-operative patients recovering from general, orthopedic, or abdominal surgeries.
Patients requiring telemetry monitoring for cardiac observation and complex medication management.
Typical Nurse to patient ration is 5:1

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
