Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Admission Discharge Transition Unit in Macon, GA. This 36-hour-per-week role includes 7p-7a night shifts with rotation weekends and holidays, delivering safe patient care and coordinating discharge planning.

Your responsibilities include using the nursing process to provide comprehensive care and ensuring a high-quality patient experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.

Where You Will Work

ADMU is a 14-bed adult medical-surgical observation/inpatient unit with short stays and fast turnover, supported by strong teamwork and collaborative, high-energy environment.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing


• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices


• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association


• Add additional preferred qualifications

What You’ll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.


• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center is a nationally recognized academic medical center, nationally-verified Level 1 Trauma Center, Magnet hospital for nursing, and serves a service area of 30 counties and a population of nearly 750,000 persons. MCNH has over 4,500 employees and a medical staff of approximately 700 physicians.
