2 West is a 12-bed inpatient medical/surgical unit. The unit provides care to all types of medical surgical patients with a variety of medical diagnoses. 2W provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for adults with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, as well as those recovering from surgical procedures. We focus on promoting recovery, managing complex health needs, and preparing patients for a successful transition to home or the next level of care. With a 3-4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, our team ensures personalized attention and continuous cardiac monitoring using advanced telemetry technology. Nurses in this department play a critical role in early detection of cardiac changes, rapid intervention, and patient education to promote recovery and prevent complications.
