Job summary

Valley Nursing Healthcare is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) at our Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylorsville, NC. We offer Day, Evening, and Night shifts with Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN options, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid out during your first year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current, active, unrestricted North Carolina RN License.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum one year of Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to each resident's individualized plan of care.
• Administer medications, perform comprehensive nursing assessments, provide wound care, and complete accurate clinical documentation.
• Supervise Nursing Assistants and support exceptional resident care.
• Monitor residents' conditions and promptly notify physicians of any significant changes.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
