Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the State.

Responsibilities

• Provides and documents prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and reports adverse reactions.
• Coordinates with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Maintains patient records and vital signs with accuracy.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication to inform and support patients.

RN Core Responsibilities:

• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.
• Records patients medical information and vital signs.

RN Requirements:

• Current RN license in the State.
• Up-to-date first aid and CPR certification.
• At least one year of experience as an RN in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of Matrixcare preferred.
