Job summary

West Hills Health and Rehab Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team in California. We provide best-in-class care to residents in a skilled nursing setting. The role offers growth opportunities and pays competitively for a dynamic team environment.

You will lead nursing staff, perform assessments, rounds, and carry out orders while ensuring a clean, safe, and dignified environment for residents. 3pm-11pm on 4/2 rotating schedule is typical.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in California.
• Experience providing direct care to multiple patients preferred.
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to nursing staff to ensure quality care for all residents.
• Conduct assessments, rounds, carry out physician orders, and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Make rounds with physicians as needed.
• Orient and welcome new residents and families.
• Other duties as assigned.

Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements

• Must possess current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN in California
• Experience providing direct care to multiple patients preferred.

Primary Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to all other facility nursing staff ensuring quality care is provided to all residents.
• Conduct assessments, make rounds, carry out physician’s orders, and communicate with our other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of excellent care in a clean, safe, dignified, happy and healthy environment
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required
• Make rounds with physicians as requested/necessary
• Orient and welcome new residents and families
• Other duties as assigned

Pay Scale: $40 - $50 / hour

Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
