Job summary

The Palms at Venice is seeking Registered Nurses for our new all-male memory care unit. New grads are welcome. This full-time position covers 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts.

You will supervise staff, coordinate resident care, and support CNAs to ensure compassionate, high-quality care in a specialized memory care setting.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the state.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.
• Must be compassionate and dedicated to delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff and oversees patient care in accordance with standards of care and applicable regulations.
• Coordinates resident care with other facility personnel per established policies.
• Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants during shift, assigns and distributes work, and ensures adherence to standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Major Responsibilities - Registered Nurse (RN)

• Supervises staff and oversees patient care in accordance with standards of care and practice and applicable state/federal regulations.
• Follows established facility policies and procedures while providing and coordinating resident care with other facility personnel.
• Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants during shift including assigning and distributing work, performance management, training new staff, and ensuring work is being performed according to facility standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - Registered Nurse (RN)

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.
• You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
