Job summary

Venetian Care & Rehabilitation in New Jersey seeks an experienced RN to deliver skilled nursing care and monitor resident conditions. The facility emphasizes resident dignity and high-quality care within a 180-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care setting.

This per diem RN position offers shifts across all hours, with hourly wages ranging from $38 to $45 and daily pay options. Requirements include an active NJ RN license, BLS, and strong clinical and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• A current, active RN license in NJ.
• BLS (CPR) certification required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per nursing standards, physician's plan, and written care plan.
• Follow and implement care plans from Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments per plan of care.
• Monitor residents, report changes promptly to clinicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation per orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for quality care.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering skilled clinical care, monitoring resident conditions, and ensuring all care is provided in accordance with established standards and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of NJ.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
