Job summary

Newport Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses to provide on-site nursing and attendant care for adolescents and young adults in our treatment facilities. The role includes health screenings, direct nursing care, and Medication administration during scheduled shifts.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license and may have experience in residential nursing. We value compassionate, patient-centered care, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to multitask under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the applying state.
• Residential nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents/young adults in our treatment setting.
• Perform health screenings, monitor chronic conditions and deliver direct nursing care.
• Evaluate medical concerns and relay information to NP/MD during on-site hours.
• Administer medications and manage refills.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA and relevant policies and regulations.

What You’ll Do

Registered Nurses at Newport Healthcare provide on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents and/or young adults in our treatment. Key responsibilities include:

• Completing client health screenings and providing direct care and nursing services as needed, including monitoring any chronic health conditions
• Evaluating medical complaints and concerns from residents during on-site hours and relaying information to the appropriate NP/MD
• Serving as a vital part of your patients’ multidisciplinary treatment teams
• Administering medications and ordering medication refills
• Complying with all policies and procedures, e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, medical protocols, infection control, and local, state, and federal regulations

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse License in state where you are applying (required)
• Experience in residential nursing (preferred, not required)
