Job summary

Genesis is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) at Pine Point in Scarborough, Maine, to provide high-quality, person-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will work across short-term recovery and long-term care, administering medications, developing care plans, and supporting residents and families with compassion.

The role requires a nursing degree from an approved program, active state RN license, and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

You will provide care for a variety of patients/residents with an array of complex diagnoses leading to enhanced knowledge and skills in many different areas.

As an RN at Pine Point, you will provide high-quality, person-centered care while working as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team. You will support residents across both short-term recovery and long-term care, using strong clinical judgment, communication, and consistency to make a meaningful impact each day.

Position Highlights

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions put in place as needs arise to minimize rehospitalizations and continued evaluation of outcomes.
• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure that tasks and interventions are implemented.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.

Base Pay

Base Pay: $40.00-$47.50/hour PLUS Shift Differential up to $6.50 depending on shift!

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing
• CPR Certification is required
