Job summary

Genesis, a leading long-term care provider in New Jersey, is seeking a dedicated RN for full-time day shifts to deliver high-quality patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

You will perform nursing assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, delegate tasks, and communicate with patients and families to support positive outcomes. Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program, licensed in NJ, and CPR certified.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing in NJ.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions to minimize rehospitalizations and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks are implemented.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.

Responsibilities

Change the lives of our patients/residents and at the same time enjoy the rewards of fully knowing your patients/residents and their families as a Registered Nurse - RN. You will provide care for a variety of patients/residents with an array of complex diagnoses leading to enhanced knowledge and skills in many different areas.
