Lyon Specialty Care in Rock Rapids, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Treatment Nurse duties in a full-time, dayshift role (7a-3p). An excellent entry point into skilled nursing with a 42 starting wage context.

Provide direct nursing care, monitor residents, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and safety. Competitive pay, shift differentials, benefits, and tuition reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in good standing in Iowa (or ability to activate).
• Current CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
• Strong empathy, respect, patience and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider, and other team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.
