Job summary

Southampton Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver skilled clinical care, monitor residents, and ensure care plans are followed. This role emphasizes compassionate, resident-centered care in a 196-bed sub-acute and long-term facility.

Daily pay options are available, with compensation ranging from $38 to $47 per hour. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, maintain documentation, and uphold infection control and safety

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Virginia.
• Valid BLS (CPR) certification.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per nursing standards, physician plan, and care plans.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments per the care plan.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of va.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
