Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate care to patients and residents in a long-term care setting in Philadelphia.

You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, develop plans of care with the team, and educate families. CPR certification is required and licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions to minimize rehospitalizations and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks are implemented.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.

Responsibilities

You will provide care for a variety of patients/residents with an array of complex diagnoses leading to enhanced knowledge and skills in many different areas.
