Job summary

HCA Healthcare is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a full-time, Monday–Friday days-only schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care within Neuroscience Asso Kansas City, part of the national HCA Healthcare system.

You will manage patient flow, educate patients on medications, maintain records, administer medications, and support the care team.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing is required.
• Experience: 1-3 years experience as a registered nurse is preferred.
• Certification/ License: Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
• Check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
• Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed).
