Job summary

Bayview Rehabilitation at Scalabrini is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled clinical care for residents in a 120-bed sub-acute and long-term care setting. The role requires an active Rhode Island RN license and CPR/BLS certification, with responsibilities including medication administration, care-plan collaboration, and accurate charting.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered active RN license in Rhode Island.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per standards and physician/NOC plans.
• Follow care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments per the care plan.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions promptly.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering skilled clinical care, monitoring resident conditions, and ensuring all care is provided in accordance with established standards and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Rhode Island.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
