Job summary

Riverview Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Rhode Island is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time, part-time, or PRN positions. The role delivers skilled clinical care, monitors resident conditions, and follows individualized care plans to support resident health and dignity.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per physician’s plan and written plan of care.
• Follow care plans developed by Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments per POC.
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions; report changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering skilled clinical care, monitoring resident conditions, and ensuring all care is provided in accordance with established standards and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN)

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN)

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Rhode Island.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
