Job summary

English Valley Nursing Care Center in Iowa is looking for a part-time or full-time RN to join our 44-bed dually certified facility attached to an Assisted Living. The role focuses on patient-centered care in a rural Southeast Iowa setting near Iowa City and local hospitals.

The RN will administer medications, perform detailed assessments, and supervise CNAs while following facility policies. Flexible scheduling, weekend differentials, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Iowa.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to supervise CNAs.

Responsibilities

• Follow established standards of nursing practice and implement facility policies.
• Complete medication administration.
• Complete detailed nursing assessments and documentation.
• Interpret policies to CNAs, residents, families, and physicians.
• Supervise and evaluate direct resident care and initiate corrective action.
• Conduct residents rounds daily and report problems to Nursing Supervisor.
• Identify resident problems and emergency situations and respond appropriately.
• Provide clinical supervision of CNAs.

• English Valley Nursing Care Center (EVNCC), has a great opportunity to welcome a new RN to our established team. We are a licensed 44-bed dually certified building with an attached Assisted Living

• We are a resident centered facility that endeavors to provide quality care and an an exceptional living environment to our stakeholders. We are nestled in a beautiful rural community in South East Iowa proximal to Iowa City and several prominent schools and hospitals.

EVNCC is seeking a part time or full-time RN

The duties for this position include:

• Follow established standards of nursing practice and implements facility policies and procedures.
• Complete medication administration
• Complete detailed nursing assessments and documentation
• Interprets existing policies and procedures to CNA's, residents, families, and physicians.
• Supervises and evaluates all direct resident care and initiates, corrective action as necessary
• Obtains report from nurse he/she is relieving and records sufficient information for follow-up action if necessaryConducts residents rounds daily, reporting problems to Nursing Supervisor and initiating corrective action
• Identifies resident problems and emergency situations and responds appropriately within the quality of life policies.
• Provides clinical supervision of CNA's
