Job summary

Brighton Post Acute and Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver skilled nursing care in a 78-bed sub-acute and long-term care facility. You will monitor resident conditions, administer medications, implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high quality care.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in MA.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per standards and physician plan of treatment and written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans created by Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments per the plan of care.
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions and report changes promptly.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician's plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents' conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of MA.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
