Job summary

Stoneybrook Health & Rehab is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team in Manhattan, Kansas. You will provide patient-centered care according to individualized care plans and collaborate with physicians, patients, and families to ensure quality outcomes.

In this role you will maintain accurate clinical records, monitor compliance with Kansas and Federal regulations, and contribute to infection control and safety initiatives while delivering compassionate, professional nursing care

Qualifications

• Must hold Kansas RN licensure and be eligible to practice.
• Experience delivering patient care per individualized care plans.
• Ability to communicate with patients and families about care and progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide a provision of care to patients in accordance with their care plans; may involve conferences with physician, patient, family and staff.
• Communicate with patient and family regarding education and progress.
• Review and maintain all clinical records required for patient care and progress.
• Review weekly reports to monitor compliance with Kansas and Federal requirements including blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control and fire safety.

As an RN, you will work under the general supervision of the communities Director of Nursing to:

• Provide a provision of care to patients in accordance with their care plans. May require conferences with physician, patient, family members and other staff involved with patient’s care.

• Communicate with patient and family regarding education and progress of patient.

• Review and maintain all clinical records, which are required for patient’s care and progress.

• Review weekly reports to monitor personal and staff compliance to all Kansas and Federal requirements including blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety
