Job summary

Commonwealth Care of Roanoke is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN delivers high-quality patient care, supervises nursing staff, and upholds clinical excellence throughout the center.

This role may also serve as Nursing Supervisor and House Supervisor as needed. The ideal candidate will hold a current RN license in good standing, demonstrate strong clinical assessment and leadership, and possess CPR certification.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
  • Two years of medical-surgical experience as an RN preferred.
  • CPR Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee the delivery of nursing care to patients.
  • Conduct daily patient rounds and assessments, reporting changes to the team.
  • Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation and coordinate care with physicians, NPs, PAs, pharmacies, labs.
  • Review orders and results, ensure timely follow-up and implementation.
  • Participate in rounds and update the interdisciplinary team on patient status.
  • Assist in developing and updating individualized patient care plans.
  • Provide wound care and other treatments as ordered, and administer medications safely.
  • Complete incident/accident reports and coordinate follow-up actions.
  • Participate in admissions, transfers, and discharges; prepare rooms for new admissions.

Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring clinical excellence throughout the center.
