Job summary

Ciena Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join Courtney Manor in Michigan. The RN will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, lead care teams, and ensure safe medication administration for seniors in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care and health education for guests.
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs/STNAs and other care team members.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to guests.
• Assess guest health and notify physician of status changes; implement orders.
• Develop plan of care based on assessment and implement nursing care.
• Select and institute nursing interventions to stabilize conditions and prevent complications.
• Contribute to guest assessments (MDS/CAA) and care plans.
