Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Independence West Campus is seeking a dedicated staff nurse to join our skilled nursing team in Iowa. You will help manage operations on your assigned unit, supervise clinical staff, and contribute to delivering the high standard of resident care our facility is known for.

You will guide and educate team members, uphold infection prevention practices, and ensure adequate staffing to meet residents' needs while fostering a positive, inclusive culture across the unit.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit.
• Provide guidance and education to clinical staff.
• Instill a positive and inclusive facility culture.
• Ensure established infection prevention practices are maintained and adequate staffing for residents' needs.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Rehabilitation Center of Independence West Campus by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.
