Our client is a hospital located in Houston, Texas and is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in critical care and patient care standards, with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment to join our care team. Job duties
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, and report changes to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure adherence to all patient care standards and protocols
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Requirements
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Must be a Registered Nurse with valid license
- Nursing: 2 years
- Experience in ICU, critical care, or related settings preferred
- Familiarity with e-Clinical Works or similar electronic medical record systems is a plus
- Knowledge of hospice palliative medicine principles is advantageous
- Ability to perform iconography procedures is beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Comfortable working in an ambulatory surgery center or hospital medicine environment
