Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to ensure high-quality resident care in a safe environment. You will develop care plans with the healthcare team and document medication administration, while coordinating with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.

We value integrity, flexibility, and rehab experience. You will work with residents and staff, following state regulations and safety procedures to maintain excellent care standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• 1 year experience as RN.
• Prior RN experience in a nursing community.
• Care for residents with integrity.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Rehab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
• Makes nursing diagnoses that guide care strategy.
• Collaborates with residents and healthcare team.
• Records the administration of medication.
• Monitor staff to follow safety regulations and laws.

Job description

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license
• 1 year experience
• Prior experience as an RN in a nursing community
• The desire to care for residents and act with integrity
• The ability to work flexible hours
• Rehab Experience prefereed
