Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Grapevine, Texas is seeking a registered nurse to ensure high-quality resident care in a clean, safe setting. You will develop and coordinate nursing plans with physicians, therapists, and CNAs, and make nursing diagnoses to guide care.

You will collaborate with residents and the healthcare team, record medication administration, supervise staff for safety, and follow all safety procedures and equipment use guidelines. Flexibility in hours is required.

Qualifications

• An active RN license.
• 1 year experience in nursing.
• Prior RN experience in a nursing community.
• Desire to care for residents with integrity.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Rehab experience preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license
• 1 year experience
• Prior experience as an RN in a nursing community
• The desire to care for residents and act with integrity
• The ability to work flexible hours
• Rehab Experience prefereed
