Job summary

Aliya Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide total nursing care for residents in our skilled nursing facility. The RN will oversee shift staffing, delegate tasks, administer medications, and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.

The role emphasizes compassionate resident care, collaboration with the health team, and ongoing education for residents, families, and staff. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
• Active Illinois RN license.
• No history of abuse convictions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow facility policies and support quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during scheduled shift.
• Collaborate with allied health team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with policy and evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintain an environment that supports residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Educate residents and families about care plans, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor team performance and support staff development, evaluations, and corrective actions as needed.
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed appropriately and efficiently.
• Stay current on facility procedures and participate in in-service and continuing education.
• Identify and respond to significant changes in residents’ conditions.
• Accurately document care provided, changes in condition, and other relevant information per facility guidelines.
• Act as a charge nurse and serve as a resource for staff, offering clinical support and decision‑making guidance.
• Follow all facility and departmental safety protocols
