Indian River Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Florida. The position includes supervising nursing staff and overseeing daily activities during assigned shifts, with PRN options available.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in Florida, preferably a BSN, and has at least two years of clinical nursing experience, including geriatrics or subacute care. CPR/BLS and IV certifications are required.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; must hold a current RN license in the state.
• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• CPR/BLS certification and IV certification.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience; one year in geriatric or subacute care.

Responsabilités

• Monitor daily delivery of nursing care and evaluate staff performance.
• Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings to identify and resolve concerns.
• Identify problems or potential issues in resident care and implement corrective action promptly.
• Provide written and verbal reports or recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Assist in developing methods to coordinate nursing services with other resident services to support continuity of care.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, this role supervises nursing personnel and oversees daily nursing activities during assigned shifts. All duties must align with professional standards and federal, state, and local regulations to ensure the highest quality of care.
