Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our rehabilitation hospital team in Fitchburg. You will assess patients, develop and adjust care plans, and collaborate with therapists and physicians to provide compassionate, personalized care that supports recovery.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to implement evidence-based practices, monitor progress, and educate patients and families about rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Must have valid RN licensure per state regulations.
• CPR certification with ACLS preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns to provide exceptional care.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families to support recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate with departments to ensure coordinated care and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for fellow staff, supporting them with complex patient needs and inquiries.
