Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fitchburg in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide individualized, compassionate care and guide patients on their path to recovery using state‑of‑the‑art rehabilitation practices.

You will supervise care and treatments, assess patient needs, tailor care plans, and collaborate with therapists and physicians to coordinate coordinated post‑acute care. CPR certification and rehab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure in accordance with state regulations.
• CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
• CRRN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns to provide exceptional care.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and families to facilitate recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments to ensure coordinated care and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for fellow staff, supporting them with complex patient needs and inquiries.
• Celebrate victories and milestones achieved by patients.
