We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Rosemead Healthcare Center, a 24-hour rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in the beautiful San Gabriel Valley. As a Registered Nurse on our subacute care team, you will be responsible for providing direct, age-specific resident care to our patients, coordinating the team approach to meet individual needs, and supervising ancillary nursing personnel.
Provide high-quality resident care, considering physical, psycho-social, and spiritual needs
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, incorporating functional and developmental age factors
Implement and evaluate the nursing aspects of interdisciplinary resident care plans
Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management in a proficient manner
Provide treatment administration, including wound care, indwelling catheter care, and management of technologically dependent residents
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, to develop individualized care plans
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, including reporting resident condition changes and suspected abuse/neglect
Current, valid Registered Nurse licensure to practice in the State of California
Current BCLS certification
Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
At least six months prior RN experience in a general acute care hospital setting or acquired equivalent competency
Collaborates with all levels of unit nursing personnel, administrative and financial staff, physicians, consultants, and other healthcare professionals
