Ernest Health, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Denver, Colorado location. This full-time role offers day and night shifts and a patient-centered care environment focused on rehabilitation after stroke, neurological conditions, and orthopedic injuries.

The RN will perform assessments, develop care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to support optimal recovery. A BSN is preferred, with current RN license and CPR certification required.

Qualifications

• Current State Registered Nurse license is required or in process.
• CPR certification is required.
• ACLS certification is preferred in LTACH and Texas hospitals.
• One year of recent acute care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care on assigned unit with patient assessments and planning.
• Supervise and implement nursing interventions to prevent complications and support recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists to deliver interdisciplinary care.

• Degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current State Registered Nurse License.
• Current CPR

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Successful completion of accredited Registered Nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• One (1) year recent experience preferred. Acute care setting preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred in LTACH and Texas hospitals.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Knowledge of and adherence to current nursing theory and practice, infection control, and wound care standards of practice.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards to ensure adherence to all standards set forth by state and accrediting agencies of TJC and CMS.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures, and utilizes proper policies, procedures, and guidelines in caring for patients.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients within assigned unit. The role is also responsible for patient assessments, planning, supervising, interventions, and evaluations designed to prevent complications of physical disability, restore optimal functioning, and help the patient adapt to an altered life style. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
