Responsabilidades

• Resident Care: Assess residents’ health status and develop/update individualized care plans; administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor changes and notify physicians or families as needed; provide skilled nursing procedures (e.g., wound care, IV therapy).
• Assessment & Documentation: Complete nursing assessments; accurately chart medications and treatments; participate in MDS and regulatory assessments; maintain compliant records.
• Leadership & Supervision: Supervise, direct, and evaluate LPNs and CNAs; conduct shift handoffs; participate in training and evaluations; promote teamwork.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow infection control, safety and HIPAA guidelines; respond to emergencies; maintain a safe environment; comply with regulations.

Location: Lincoln Village Healthcare Center, Lincoln, IL

PAY: $50.00 per hour

Hours: 12- Hour Shifts (6-6) All shifts available.

What We Are Looking For:

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). The RN ensures care is delivered in accordance with facility policies, physician orders, resident care plans, and all federal and state regulations.

What You Will Do:

Resident Care

• Assess residents’ health status and develop/update individualized care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Monitor and respond to change in residents’ conditions, including notifying physicians and families as needed.

• Provide skilled nursing procedures such as wound care, catheter care, IV therapy, and tube feedings per physician orders.

Assessment & Documentation

• Complete and document nursing assessments in accordance with facility standards.

• Accurately chart medications, treatments, and resident care in the medical record.

• Participate in the completion of the MDS (Minimum Data Set) and other required assessments within regulatory timelines.

• Maintain accurate records for compliance with state and federal requirements.

Leadership & Supervision

• Provide supervision, direction, and evaluation of LPNs and CNAs.

• Conduct shift-to-shift handoff reports and ensure continuity of care.

• Participate in staff training, orientation, and performance evaluations.

• Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines at all times.

• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions.

• Maintain a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

• Comply with all facility, state, and federal regulations.

What You Will Bring:

• Current, valid Illinois RN license in good standing.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and assist with resident transfers.

Work Environment:

RNs work in a skilled nursing facility with frequent contact with residents, families, and healthcare staff. The position involves direct resident care, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration within an interdisciplinary care team.
