Job summary

Medicalodges, Inc. in Columbus, KS, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (Charge Nurse) to manage, plan, coordinate, and perform direct and indirect nursing care in line with physician orders and the resident plan of care.

The ideal candidate will have RN registry, strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize and make sound decisions within the scope of practice, and proven leadership abilities to supervise nursing staff.

Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

• Administers and documents medication, treatment, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and the resident plan of care
• Routinely performs rounds to verify residents are in a safe and comfortable environment and receiving planned care
• Supervises, assigns and assists in the nursing activities of the direct care staff.
