Collierville Nursing and Rehab is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to join our caring team in Collierville, TN. We offer day shifts from 7a–7p and night shifts from 7p–7a, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Consults and coordinates with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Prepares and administers medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and records prescribed meds; reports adverse reactions.
• Records patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitors and adjusts equipment used on patients and interprets electronic displays.
• Initiates corrective action when the patient shows adverse symptoms.
• Provides bedside care for a wide range of medical patients.
• Changes dressings, inserts catheters, starts IVs.
• Prepares equipment and aids the physician during examinations and treatments.
• Responds to life-threatening situations per nursing standards and protocol.
• Participates in discharge planning.
• Uses time management skills.
• Records all care information concisely and accurately in a timely manner.

RN Core Responsibilities:

• Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans

• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.

• Records patients' medical information and vital signs.

• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.

• Initiates corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology

• Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients.

• Changes dressings, insert catheters, starts IVs

• Prepares equipment and aids the physician during examination and treatment of a patient

• Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol

• Participates in discharge planning.

• Utilizes time management skills.

• Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format, and on the appropriate forms.
