Job summary

Good Shepherd is actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide both clinical leadership and hands-on skilled nursing care. The RN will play a critical role in resident assessment, care planning, and day-to-day clinical decision-making, collaborating with nursing staff, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

We offer compensation of $35-$38 per hour and a full benefits package including health, dental, vision and life insurance, a 401(k) with company match,

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and support nursing staff.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care as an RN, including comprehensive resident assessments.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor resident condition changes and intervene appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with providers, residents, and families.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with regulations.
• Support quality initiatives, infection control practices, and resident safety.

Schedule and Employment Type

• Full-Time Days (6AM - 6PM) | Every Other Weekend Required
