Job summary

Hill Crest Behavioral Health Services in Birmingham, AL is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) for full-time or part-time roles. Shifts include 2-3, 8-hour days on weekdays and/or 12-hour shifts every other Saturday/Sunday.

Qualifications

• AL RN license required; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Current credential as a Registered Nurse in Alabama.
• One year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• LPN must have credentials to direct patient management and CPR certification.

• Provide nursing care to psychiatric patients within inpatient settings.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement care.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current status as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama.
• One (1) year of experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
• LPN must have credentials to direct physical management of the patient and have current CPR certification.
• New hires are required to attend 7-days of New Employee Orientation on day shift, normally 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday + following Mon-Wed.
• Must successfully pass background check (includes criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check) and drug screen.
