Job summary

Affirmed Home Care, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide personalized, one-on-one hospice care for a client in the home setting in Belleville, New Jersey.

The RN will assess, educate, and manage pain and symptoms, coordinating with a dedicated clinical team to ensure comfort and quality of life. Per diem scheduling offers flexibility for day, evening, overnight, and weekend assignments.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience in acute care or home care
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life care
• Strong knowledge of end-of-life care, pain and symptom management, and comfort-focused care
• Current BLS certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Physical examination completed within the past year
• PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past year, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years, if applicable
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical exemption

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, one-on-one hospice nursing care in the client’s home
• Assess and manage symptoms, administer medications, and adjust care plans as needed
• Educate family caregivers and coordinate with clinical team for seamless care
• Document care provided and communicate updates to supervisor

Per Diem | Private-Duty Home Care | Belleville, NJ

Affirmed Home Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide personalized, one-on-one care to a client in the comfort of their home in Belleville, New Jersey.

This position is ideal for an RN who values meaningful patient relationships, compassionate care, and the opportunity to apply their clinical expertise in a home care setting.

Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601 and surrounding areas

Position Details

• Per diem position

• One-on-one private-duty home care

• Flexible scheduling based on client needs

• Day, evening, overnight, and weekend assignments may be available

• Pay:
  $55.00 per hour
  $125.00 per RN visit

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life care
