Staff Today Inc. in a correctional healthcare setting is seeking a Nights RN Corrections Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a safe and professionally managed environment.

Join a dedicated team, administer medications, monitor patients, and coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with infection control and EMR documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes.
